Play Group
This is the age where children are the most receptive to information. In order for toddlers to have effective learning and development, it is crucial for them to be able to trust our educators. A strong secure relationship between our caregivers and toddlers at Sheffield kidsworld is highly emphasized as this leads to confident children with a high sense of freedom and receptiveness to learning.
Nursery 1
It is inherent in children within this age group to be inquisitive about their surroundings and daily occurrences in their lives. A child with an investigative mindset needs to be given adequate support and confidence, in order to develop them into wonderful thinkers. At Sheffield kidsworld, our program is tailored in such a way that it develops both their physical and mental wellbeing, where they learn problem solving skills and how to better master their gross motor co-ordination.
Nursery 2
From N2 onwards, the focus in the educational program gravitates towards instilling foundational notions, character and proficiency that are vital for learning in their later stages of their lives. A much greater emphasis is placed upon the children’s literacy and mathematical skills. Socialization finesse, which is critical in today’s world where globalization is inevitable, is also taught via the various activities provided.
Kindergarten 1
This age group marks the beginning of the kindergarten years, where children grow to become slightly more independent. We encourage children to start thinking more on their own feet, with a greater focus placed upon cultivating their hunger to seek answers. Our team of dedicated teachers would help ease the transition between the Nursery to Kindergarten level, ensuring that the process is both fulfilling and fun, yet educational.
Kindergarten 2
This is the last year of the kindergarten era, where children would depart to enter the next phase of their educational life, the Primary School. As such, our curriculum is prepared in such a way that our children are ready to face the challenges in the Primary Schools. A huge priority is placed upon developing the children’s literacy and numerical skills, so that they would have a better head-start when they enter Primary 1. The activities are designed in such a way that it gives the children an experience into life as a primary school student.
